Tilda With Key to Somebody's Heart for Friday Sketchers 58

A very Happy Friday to Everyone!! I hope that your week was a delightful one and that your weekend will be even better!!! Tilda has the key to somebody's heart!! Could it be yours??? It is definitely mine!!!

Just as Friday rolls around we have Friday Sketchers 58 Challenge Blog for you. This week the most talented Carole from England is hosting the challenge and she has presented a delightful sketch for us to use in making our sample cards. We hope that you will drop by to see our submissions and will join us during the week as you use the same lovely sketch in your creation. The prize this week is wonderful!! Thank you, Carole, for hosting this week and for the sketch you have created for all of us!

For my sample card this week, I used Bazzill CS for the base, PTI Dark Chocolate CS for the matting, and various digital papers. Most of the panels were stitched with Old Gold thread. Tilda with Key from the Love Collection 2009 and available at Magnolia-licious was colored with Copics and propped up on dimensional tape on the nesties. The key was colored over with Spica Gold. All flowers and tiny bows on the front are from the June Bloom Kit at Crafty Feeling. I finally added gold cording to attach the key to the heart charm, MS punched branches to the flowers, and gold beads and a brass corner to the motif panel.
NOTE: Laughingggggggg here...that big white freckle under the bottom flower is the backing from a dimensional dot. I puffed it off AFTER I made the picture. Just checking to see if you noticed...hahahhaha

The inside of the card uses digital papers and PTI Dark Chocolate CS also. I did some stitching around some of the panels and on the quilted piece, put together a contrasting flower to the front flowers, added nesties and a dotted satin ribbon bow that I made on a Bow-Easy with ribbon from the same Crafty Feeling kit, and finally scattered some gold beads all about..

Thank you so much for dropping by to see this little darlin' and I hope you will come back often. Please leave us a note to let us know what you think about this little Tilda. Have a magnificent weekend and please be safe!Until your next visit we send Magnolia-licious huggies!!!

Tilda and Edwin - A Day in the Sun!!

Happy Tuesday evening everyone!! I hope that you are having a magnificent week!!

Since I had never made a stair step card, I decided to try one so that I could join in with the challenge (and boy!! this was a BIG one for me) over on The Next Level where Ann (Madge) and Dawn have such interesting offerings on their fairly new challenge blog. If you have never visited The Next Level I urge you to do so since there are so many interesting things to read and to try!!!

I used 8...really EIGHT Maggies on this card!!!! They are: Tilda With Swimsuit and Bridge Deck from the Party and Vacation Collection 2008, Tilda's Sun from the Stamp Club 2007, Paper Piece from So Heavenly, Travel and School Collection 2008, Edwin with Paddle, Lighthouses, Rowboat and Lifebuoy from the Summer and Sea Collection 2008. All of these stamps are from Magnolia-licious. This is clearly a card that shows that you can use stamps from a number of collections and they still work out just fine!!!

Starting with the background, I airbrushed then sponged the sky. The ocean waves are made from 2 different kinds of border punches. I stamped Tilda's Sun twice, colored both with Copics and cut one out in its entirety and the other just the cute face of the sun which I propped up for dimension. Next I made another boat using the Rowboat which has as its mast the stick from a yummy Fudgsicle. Then I stamped and colored the Lifebuoy and made ropes of Scrappers Floss. Finally added a tiny red/white/blue bow made with the Bow-Easy.

The second level is Tilda with Swimsuit sitting on Bridge Deck, both colored with Copics. I added 3 twirlie blue glittered thingies...lol and a red mesh butterfly.

For the front level I started with PTI Kraft, mixed MS Carrara Marble glitter with E55 Copics to make the sand. I then stamped and colored Edwin with Paddle and the smaller of the two Lighthouses. Note: in case you are curious, I colored the lighthouse like Bodie Island Lighthouse which is on the Outer Banks of North Carolina between Cape Hatteras and Currituck Beach!!! I then made a little rope for Edwin to hold from Scrapper's Floss and I added several seashell buttons. What's a beach scene without a sand dollar??? This view may give you a better perspective of the levels although it makes little Tilda and Edwin look like MUNCHKINS!!! You can also see all of the stamps I used except for the one on the back of the card.

For the back of the card, I started with a navy/white dot DP and placed red rickrack from Crafty Feeling around the ouside border. I then stamped the Paper Piece to be used as the jotting spot and finally added sailboat buttons, white buttons, and an anchor charm tied with red DMC floss. The last thing I did was punch holes through all layers and run a knotted piece of kitchen twine through both edges to hold the card erect since it is a bit heavy.

Thank you so much for dropping by...we love it when you come visit us and we especially like to hear what you have to say about us!! If you haven't tried a stair step card, it is alot of fun, so try it!! I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week...Take care and be safe and come back again real soon!! Bunches of Magnolia-licious huggettes!!

Edwin Christens His Little Dinghy, The SS Tilda

A very happy Saturday evening to everyone!!! It has been 90 degrees here and I can't stand it outside...I mow a row and sip a row...lol

I don't know about you, BUT Student Edwin doesn't look like any student I EVER had in any of my classes at the college. But he does look like a very handsome and loving ship's captain I know quite well....lol....referring to my Dad of course!!! Anyway, I pulled together some digital papers I was given and came up with a scene of Little Seafaring Edwin christening his little dinghy as the SS Tilda!!!! Cute, huh? I used alot of stitching on the card to outline the dinghy, etc. The card base is Bazzill and matting is PTI. I also used scrapper's floss and kitchen twine for ropes with brass grommets to lace the sails. Edwin was colored with Copics (notice his blue and khaki rep tie), the brass buckle and buttons are Gold Spica, and the bill of his cap, the champagne glass, and bubbles are covered with Diamond Glaze. I propped Edwin and the pennant (outlined with opaque white) up on dimensional tape. I used coordinating papers to make the various pieces of the little dinghy. The design is taken from one of the motifs in the paper. Square brass brads and reef knot side borders finish off the front. I learned how to make those from some nautical site on line...lol
The inside is pretty simple with just a couple of round nesties, a ship's wheel dotted with Gold Spica and a wrapped rope...finished off with the same square brass brads.

Student Edwin is from the Graduation and Student Collection 2009 and of course you can find him along with the best selection of stamps in North America at Magnolia-licious. Diana offers wonderful opportunities to not only get your Maggies at a wonderful price but also provides the best shipping policy in all the land--for the US and Canada only $2.50 for orders up to $50; over $50 the shipping is free!! Where can you find a better deal than that???

Thank you so much for dropping by to visit with us...we certainly appreciate you and we love to hear what you think!! This gives you an idea that all Maggies can be used for so many different things...just let your imagination soar...mine does most of the time...lolol Have a wonderful evening and the rest of the weekend...Take care and be safe and come back to see us often...HUGS!!!!

Tilda with Roses at Friday Sketchers 57

Happy Friday!! I hope that everyone has had a magnificent week and is ready for a fun and enjoyable weekend!! Summer is definitely here in my little corner of the world...whewwwwww... 90 degrees in these mountains where it is supposed to be TEMPERATE!!!!

This week over on Friday Sketchers we are being hosted by the quintessentially talented Bea of Germany who has presented us with this very interesting and fun sketch challenge. I would like to invite you over to our challenge blog to see all of the wonderful sample cards using Bea's sketch. Also please visit each DT member's respective blog to see even greater details of their cards. We would love for you to join us this week in using the sketch to create your own card to share with us over on Friday Sketchers!! Thanks Bea for such a wonderful sketch this week!!!

For my card I used Bazzill CS for the base, PTI Ocean Tides CS for matting, and MME Tiny Dancer DP. I also used PTI Ocean Tides satin and Sweet Blush dotted satin ribbons. I colored Tilda with Bunch of Roses with Copics on Cryogen white and decided that I wanted much more dimension to her...can you believe that??? lol...so I added tiny paper roses and rosebuds to make her bundle of roses. Was I successful in adding some dimension??? LOL All of the flowers used and the pins are from Crafty Feeling in the UK. These were originally white and I airbrushed them with Copics to match the DP...Sorry that the pictures show them as more of a peach color...I just could not get them to photograph correctly. To complete the front I added teal pearls to the corners and a small silver rose charm which I also colored with Copics...

The inside of the card uses coordinating DP from the same MME collection.

This little Tilda with Bunch of Roses has probably become one of my very favorite stamps...along with about 250 more of course!!!! She is a part of the Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009 and is available at Magnolia-licious where you will find tons and tons of her friends and accessory stamps. AND if you become a member of the Magnolia-licious Yahoo site, you will be so pleasantly surprised by all of the SPECIAL offers that Diana gives the members!!!!!

Thank you so much for dropping by to see us -- we love it when you visit and especially love to hear what you think of us!!! May you all have a very safe and enjoyable weekend...AND until the next time, bunches and lots of MAGNOLIA-LICIOUS hugs!!!!

Tilda Picking Sweetpeas at The Next Level

Happy Wednesday Evening Everyone!!! I hope that each of you is having a magnificent week!! It has been so hot in these mountains that my energy level is waning!! Or maybe it has nothing to do with the weather...lol

This card was made for the new challenge group The Next Level. However I combined the challenges for Weeks One and Three (Ann, I promised, right?)...making and using Lollipop Flowers and the following sketch:

This is a new challenge group which is very interesting and educational. Ann(Madge) and Dawn are doing an exceptional job in providing techniques, sketches, instruction, challenges, hints and tips, tutorials, etc. They are definitely to be commended for the exceptional contribution they are making!! Have a peek and see if you don't find alot of material that is very helpful!!

I used Bazzill CS for the base, PTI CS for matting, and the DP is a combination of Victorian Romance Pastels by Creamotion of the Netherlands and Papermania Signature Blueberry Hill from the UK. I absolutely love both of these paper collections but I know that one of them is no longer printed...sigh. I also used little Tilda Picking Lilacs (except my little Tilda is picking sweetpeas) and also the sentiment May Your Day Be Special, both from the Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009. Both of these are available at Magnolia-licious. Please go and check out Diana's present stock of stamps...you will be so amazed at the selection! And she provides free shipping to the US and Canada for orders of at least $50; for orders of less than $50, shipping is just $2.50 to the US and Canada!!!

Little Tilda is colored with Copics on Cryogen White and to make the sweetpeas I used Flowersoft--interesting stuff to give a really different look to your card and it adds so much dimension!! You can see that I made TWO lollipop flowers using the instructions provided on The Next Level blog and added pre-gathered lace to the arch on the front. One of the flowers was placed on the tag along with some really neat ribbon from the April Bloom Kit at Crafty Feeling in the UK. The buttons are from a vintage blouse I found in a local shop.

I did quite a bit of stitching on this card--both zigzag and straight. I also made use of plain and scalloped round nesties and MS punch.

I hope you like this little cutie and will leave her a message!! Thank you so much for dropping by and we hope you will come see us often!! Until the next time be safe and happy!!! Hugs to all!!!!

Edwin Goes Fishing at the Ole Fishing Shed

Happy Monday everyone!!! Thanks for dropping by to see who's fishing at the ole fishing hole today!! LOL

Gosh! I just finished this card and lo and behold the requirement for Copic Creations challenge for the next 2 weeks is the coloring of WOOD. This card has its share of WOOD for sure!! I used Fishing Edwin from the Summer 2007 Collection, Summer Background from the Shabby Chic Collection 2008, Sea Background from Summer & Sea Collection 2008 and the Alota Fishing Shed. All four of the stamps I used are from Magnolia-licious where you will also find a super-duper selection of Maggies at all times! Diana has some special deals for those who are members of the Magnolia-licious Yahoo Site. I also used Bazzill CS for the card base, PTI Ocean Tides CS for matting, and MME DP.

This card was quite time-consuming because I wanted to not only create a fishing scene but I also wanted alot of dimension. So I started with Cryogen White for the base of the scene and stamped Fishing Edwin and the Fishing Shed, masked both of them and stamped the Summer Background first and then stamped part of the Sea Background. You will notice that I had to stamp the Summer Background twice so that the entire sky would be covered and then had to draw in with a Copic Multiliner the portion of the waterline under the shed. Am I making sense?? Remember I don't know all of this terminology!!! lol OK, then I masked the clouds and sun and airbrushed the sky and then the ground. I then stamped the Fishing Shed and Edwin again so that I would have dimension and colored them with Copics with a touch of Stickles for Edwin's wings. I then colored the base scene using Copics (at least a bushel basket full of Copics)!!

On the base Fishing Shed I only colored that part which could be seen after the second layer was placed over it with dimensional tape. Notice that I also colored the curtains on the base level and covered them with Diamond Glaze and also painted the water with Diamond Glaze. Next I cut out the windows of the second Fishing Shed to add depth to the windows...I hope these pictures will give you an idea of the dimension of this card:

Almost finished...I added a fish button to the gable of the house, and a hand made wooden oar/fish holder to the shed railing, tying them on with floss. Edwin has been a lucky fisherman....he has caught 3 wee fish already...hahahahah...Three swimming fishies and a friendly froggie to keep Edwin company were added!! Since Edwin's fishing pole was soooooooo thin I decided to make him one using an eye pin and floss. How did I do??? The last thing I did was to color in the flowers on the sides of the shed with Sakura Souffle pens to add dimension and add some brads to soften the corners...Whewwwwwwww...what a production!!!

Needless to say, the inside of this card was QUICK AND EASY!!!!!!!!!! I only added a couple of touches from the front for a bit of continuity. I added floss for the big catch!!! And placed another froggy on the jotting panel...

I'm sure I have not explained this card very well so if you have questions about anything I did, please let me know in your comment or drop me an email. Thank you so much for visiting us today and I hope you have enjoyed my take on coloring wood and developing a scene using a cute Edwin. Please hurry back and see us all real soon...AND have a wonderful week!!! Hugs!!

NOTE: This is a very special card for a very special man, Bill Witt of MD, who is a TRUE HOKIE and who will be celebrating his 89th Birthday in NC with his wife, Maureen, my Auntie Jane, and ME!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BILL!!!

Tilda with Cowberry Muffin at Friday Sketchers 56

Happy Friday everyone and I hope you all had a magnificent week and are looking forward to a most enjoyable weekend!! Friday brings us to a brand new sketch challenge at Friday Sketchers. This week is Week 56 and is hosted by the very talented and lovely Jeanette from Canada who offers us such a delightfully fun sketch.

I hope that you will come over to Friday Sketchers and have a peek at the wonderful card samples of Bea, Carole, Claudia, Heidi, Jacqueline, Jeanette, and Tanja. They have all done exquisite cards this week!! You may even get a peek at some of the new stamps from the Pet Collection!! Gosh!! They are too cute!! Not only do we want you to visit us, but we also would love for you to participate along with us this week by using this fun sketch and submitting it for us to see!!

For my card this week, I used Bazzill CS for the base, and all matting is PTI CS in Spring Rain, Sweet Blush, and the fairly new Hibiscus Burst. All DP is from the DCWV Sweet Stack. I also used PTI Hibiscus Burst satin ribbon throughout the card. I selected the cutest little Tilda with Cowberry Muffin from the So Heavenly, Travel, and School Collection 2008 which is available at Magnolia-licious along with all of her friends and accessories! Diana's shop, which has the largest on-line selection of Maggies in North America, offers free shipping to the US and Canada for all orders over $50; and for orders less than $50, shipping is only $2.50. What a real deal!!!

Little Tilda was colored Copics, Stickles on wings, and Liquid Pearls and Spicas on muffin. I dressed the front a bit with a ribbon accent, Rayher demi-pearls, MS border punch, and lovely flowers from Crafty Feeling in the UK, which I highlighted with Copics.

On the first panel on the inside of the card I added a swag of the PTI ribbon and added 3 "SWEETS" enameled charms and on the jotting panel I added Doodlebug cupcake brads. The inside is finished off with the same demi-pearls as the front.

I hope you like this cute little girl and will let her know what you think of her!! Thank you so much for coming by--and we hope you will come back often!! Hugs and more hugs to everyone!!!!

Tilda Finally Graduates...Isn't she cute??

A very happy Monday evening to each and every one of you!! I hope that your week is going well and that you are enjoying beautiful weather, wherever you may be!! And NOW, back to my Maggies!!!!

I made this card for Just Magnolia using a fantastic sketch by the talented and inspirational Rachel Jakes, better known to many of us as Rach. Thank you so much Rach for providing all of us with such a lovely and interesting sketch!

I used Bazzill CS for the base, PTI CS for matting and the DP is all Making Memories Black Tie. All panels were stitched in Old Silver thread. Tilda was stamped twice and both images were colored with Copics with a tiny touch of red Spica for her tassel. She was then cut out and propped up on dimensional tape onto round nesties. I added a spot of Diamond Glaze to her shoes and made a diploma tied with red ribbon for the lower right corner to serve as the sentiment and embossed CONGRATULATIONS in silver on the inside. It is certainly easy enough to untie for the recipient to read the message. The wider ribbon on the front is also Black Tie. I made a red tassel of DMC floss and placed silver beads on the corners. All of the flowers are from Crafty Feeling in the UK...I love Jayne's flowers!!

The inside of the card is stitched and is a repetition of the round nesties and same ribbon from the front. The Tomorrow stamp is placed on the first panel and the Graduation Diploma is placed on the jotting panel, colored with Copics and a tiny touch of red Spica on both. Finally smaller silver beads are added to soften the corners.

All of the stamps I used are from Magnolia-licious and are from the Graduation and Student Collection 2009 which is in house at Diana's. She offers free shipping to all US and Canada orders over $50. She has recently restocked much of her inventory so NOW is a wonderful time to get those Maggies that you have been wanting!!

I hope you like this little Tilda and are as proud of her as I am!! Please leave her a note letting her know what you think of her. Thank you so much for dropping by and visiting with us and I hope you willl come back often. Have a wonderful rest of the week...Hugs!!

Remember: Please don't forget to upload your pictures of your Post-it Note Holder project and Kerry's June DT Sketch challenge to Magnolia-licious Highlites.

My First Non-Magnolia...sigh

Happy Sunday everyone...I trust that you are having a magnificent weekend and I hope you enjoyed the Magnolia-licious Blog Hop as much as I did...that was a BLAST!!!! Shucks, I'm ready to do it again...aren't you? Maybe it won't be long til we have another one...yipppppppeeeee!!! Please join with us in designing your own project and be sure to upload it right HERE. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!!

Note: This is the 51st card of my lifetime...I told my MM that after I made 50 Maggies that I would attempt something else--another kind of stamp. So Friday's FS card was Number 50 and here is Number 51. LOL

This is my very first non-Magnolia card and I'm not sure what to think about myself...lol...Actually I had this card prepared way early using my sketch over on Friday Sketchers but since I had to have a color coordinated blog (self-imposed of course), I decided to make a Maggie card using my sketch for FS. For this card, I used Basic Grey Lime Rickey which is really a fun, bright collection. I also used Bazzill CS for the base and Prism papers for the matting. I also used a hÄnglar & stÄnglar image of the cutest little girl holding a bird house. She is colored with Copics with a touch of Spica for her buttons. There's quite a bit of stitching on this card and layers are propped up on dimensional tape. I used coordinating colors of narrow organza ribbon, a bird button, a pewter feather charm, and Lime Rickey brads.

The inside of the card is stitched also and on the first panel I have used a cd's birdhouse and a portion of the Magnolia Shabby Chic Fence from the Shabby Chic Collection 2008, both colored with Copics and embellished with FlowerSoft. I also airbrushed the background. Both panels use the same ribbons as the front. The jotting panel has the same ribbon bows as the front and the same bird button. What do you think my Swedish friends will think of her?

Thank you so much for dropping by and I hope you will let this little girl know what you think of her. I do appreciate your comments very much and I will be looking forward to the next time you visit. I will be back with my Maggies real soon!!! Hugs!!

Magnolia-licious SUMMER NOTES Blog Hop AND Friday Sketchers 55 AND Some Sweet Stuff, Too!!!

Happy Friday AND a big WELCOME to the Magnolia-licious SUMMER NOTES Blog Hop and to Friday Sketchers 55 which is my week to sponsor. I am so glad you dropped by and I know that everything below is going to be bunches of fun for all of us...So join in on both activities and let's have a blast!!!

Magnolia-licious SUMMER NOTES Blog Hop

The Design Team members of Magnolia-licious have all made a summer themed sticky note holder and box using the design of Bridgett Owens and using Magnolia stamps. You will need to make the same project and upload it to Mr Linky at Magnolia-licious Highlites to be eligible to win the prize of 3 Magnolia stamps from Diana at Magnolia-licious. The winner will be selected randomly on June 12 from all of those who have met the criteria and posted at the Magnolia-licious Highlites site. The Blog Hop begins with Suzanne Dean who will give you complete instructions and requirements for the project and she will direct you to the next DT who will show you their respective projects. Good luck and don't forget to come back to visit me because I have a wee touch of sweet stuff for you to win!!

My project uses DP from the Pretty Papers Bloc Blue of Marianne Design of the Netherlands and Lemon Tart CS and satin ribbon from PTI. I added a few daisies to each part of the set. The Magnolia that I have used is Sweetheart Tilda from the Love Collection 2009. Although I have used the mini size, which was a very special gift, the regular size can be seen below in my Friday Sketchers card and various desk accessories I made as a part of my prize! She can be found at Magnolia-licious, which has the largest on-line selection of Magnolia stamps in all of North America.

Friday Sketchers 55

Since I am the host of this week's Friday Sketchers Challenge 55, I would like to invite each of you to our blog to see the wonderful cards made by our DT of Bea, Carole, Claudia, Heidi, Jacqueline, Jeanette, and Tanja using MY sketch -- MY VERY FIRST SKETCH!!!

I would love for you to participate this week at Friday Sketchers and would be thrilled to see your card using my sketch!! We have a very cute set of stamps by Our Craft Lounge as this week's prize which is sponsored by Sir Stampalot. Hope to see you there!!!

Here is my card for the week:

Many of you know me well enough to know that I certainly had to color/theme coordinate my entire blog post today so BLUE and YELLOW and DAISIES it is!!! I used the same papers that I used for the project above and for the wee projects in my sweet stuff. All of the main panels were stitched and I used Sweetheart Tilda and Ribbon With Bows from the Love Collection 2009 and Spring Daisies from the Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009. All coloring on the card is Copics except for the foliage on the daisies which is Spica. Since I could not find pearls that matched well, I used Copics to color the plain white pearls. Here is the quite simple inside of the card:

Now for some MORE FUN & SWEET STUFF

My prize today is pictured above and I will ship anywhere that a mailperson goes!! lol... I tried to keep everything in the PROPER color/theme scheme (did you have any doubt??)...Here is what is included: my project from above, coordinating mini clipboard, mini composition book, pen, daisy journal, wooden holder with shaped daisy post-its, ribbons, flowers, buttons, charms, a bouquet of daisies, AND matching cookies (in the blue checked box) AND blue and yellow Jelly Belly candies!!! All you have to do is leave a comment here and also link this posting if you have a blog. I will select the winner at random on Friday, June 12, at 6AM EST. Good luck and I wish you ALL could win!!!

Thank you so much for visiting me today...I love it when you come see my Maggies and me and especially when you leave us a note...Have a wonderful weekend and I hope to see you right back here very soon...Hugs to everyone!!!

June DT Sketch - Tilda In France

BONJOUR!!!! A very happy Monday to everyone...hello June...and I hope that everyone had a splendid weekend!! It was very warm here in the mountains so I was able to get alot of outside work done. Roses, roses, roses!!!

This month the DT sketch at Magnolia-licious is by Kerry and is really a fun one to work with. Thanks, Kerry, for such a great sketch. The DT Sketch Challenge is now located on its own blog called Magnolia-licious Highlights. A big thank you to Deb for designing the very pretty site and to Sharon for the little Tildas that grace the header at the site. We hope that you will join us this month and post your own cards for the June DT Sketch Challenge on this site!!

I used Bazzill CS for the base, Prismatics Spring Willow Medium for the matting and all DP is Madeline by K&Co. Since I was using Tilda in France from the Spring/Summer Collection 2008, I tried to make this card just as French as the law would allow...lol. She along with all of her non-French friends can be found at Magnolia-licious. Diana has the largest selection of Magnolias in all of North America and has recently received several new shipments so NOW is the time to order those stamps that have been out of stock for awhile. Remember that for orders over $50 there is NO shipping charge for US and Canada orders.

Tilda was stamped 4 times and colored with Copics. Although it is difficult to see in the picture, she was layered, and layered, and layered so that she would be VERY 3-dimensional -- the last 2 layers are the clothes and beret...and then the ribbon/bow on beret. Note: To add some texture to Tilda's clothes I used a small piece of terry cloth sprinkled with Copic Colorless Blender solution and then dabbed on the clothing...I think it gives the sweater an almost mohair look and the skirt a homespun wool look. What do you think?? The sentiment in the lower right corner is a clear stamp from the Madeline Collection and is also propped up for dimension. The Eiffel Tower charm just HAD to be there!!

I tried to carry the pink/green theme throughout the card by the ribbon treatment and the repetition of the fleur-de-lis motif.

I hope you have enjoyed my take on Kerry's sketch and hope you will join us this month so that we can see your wonderful work. Please leave me a note to let me know what you think of my little Tilda in France...AU revoir, mes amies....oooohhh, was that right????
