Fairy Tale Tilda at Friday Sketchers #103

A very happy Friday to everyone!!! I intend to have a marvelous one as well as a great weekend!!!! And I hope for you the same!!! This week has been a splendid one!! And on Monday I will have the fifth chemo of the six so gosh, things are looking UP!!!! I can hardly wait until I can report that I have finally finished my time with the dragon!!!! I can barely remember when I reported to you that I had to enter chemo and now it is almost finished.....yippppeeeeee!!!!

This week at Friday Sketchers #103 we are being hosted by the quintessentially talented and creative Jeanette from Canada who has designed for us an absolutely marvelous sketch!!! Thank you, Jeanette, for the fun and exciting sketch!!!! I hope that you will have a peek at the lovely DT Sample Cards and will decide to join us and show us your interpretation of Jeanette's sketch...Gosh it was fun!!! There is a lovely gift provided by Simon Says Stamp so please come on over!!!

For my card this week I used Bazzill for the base, all matting is PTI and unknown, and every single bit of the DP is from the Fairy Tale Paper Pack from Magnolia-licious...as a matter of fact almost everything on this card is from Diana's shop!!!!! Admittedly, Diana's favorite paper is the pink and green frog paper so let's see if she notices that I used it....smile!! I stamped Fairy Tale Tilda on Cryogen White and colored her with Copics, adding Gold Smooch to the frog's crown, Diamond Stickles and Angel Wings Shimmerz to her wings, and Bubble Gum Stickles to the flowers. It looks as though this cutie is not available at the moment, but I am sure if you contact Diana, she will try to get her for you!!! She rests on oval and oval scalloped Nesties and is propped up with dimensional tape. All panels of the card are machine stitched. The vertical panel is bounded by a border punched with the MS Crown punch, adding crystals to each point. To complete the front, I added flowers from Magnolia-licious resting on MS punches, a crystal crown, a Bow-Easy bow with tails, and the cutest little enamel frog button ever!! The front was finished with additional clear crystals to soften some corners.

For the first panel of the inside of the card, I used a similar bow to the front and attached a pink rhinestone crown dangling from silver cording and topped by a Doodlebug frog. And for the jotting panel, I simply added a knotted ribbon and another Doodlebug frog. To finish the inside I also added clear crystal gems to soften each corner.

I hope you like my little creation and will decide to join us at Friday Sketchers this week. We would love to see your card using Jeanette's sketch!! Please visit each of the Sassy Sketcher Girls' blogs and let them know what you think of their magnificent creations!!!
Aud, Bea, Claudia, Inge, Jacqueline, Janneke, Jeanette, Tanja

Thank you so much for dropping by!! I cannot tell you enough how much your visits mean to me!! I am so appreciative of your visits, your kind and sweet comments, your emails, your cards, and especially your thoughts. You have all made my journey so much easier by just knowing that you are there, wherever you may be!! Great big Maggie hugs for each of you!!!!

I also like the way you used the flowers they are just right. I had not thought about using the printed paper on the inside on the top but it added so much to your card! Great job!

You continue to create such beauty and share with others even through your body is going through so much. You allow your spirit to really shine through!
