SWEET STUFF at a Special Belles 'n Whistles Posting!!!

A very happy middle of the week to everyone!!! Gosh I am glad to be back in the land of my Cyberian buddies!! I can't believe how important my computer has become to me and how much I missed all of you these past several days!! But hopefully all tornados will stay with the Wizard and finally we can really see some SPRINGTIME!!!! When I heard more severe thunderstorms for today, I almost cringed!!!!! Anyway...Guess I better tell you all that my appointment at the Cancer Center HAPPENED...lol...and lo and behold my Vitamin D level is still low AND the tumor marker has had no change...but what do they know??? I say I am feeling as GRRRRRRREAT as Tony the Tiger!!! So there!!!!

This posting has a very special place in my world of blogging and is one of my special 2 year blog anniversary postings!! Many of you are aware of my experience with breast cancer and followed me from the finding out moment to the present. I can also tell you that Summer and her DT members at Belles 'n Whistles were so supportive of me in so many ways!! I will always be so thankful for them!!!! The lovely Summer at Belles 'n Whistles introduced The Snowbabies Collection...a collection with a CAUSE! And from the BnW website: 10% of the proceeds earned from sales in this collection will be donated to Breast Cancer Research in honor of our dear friends, Jacqueline Beddingfield and Elise Dinolfo. Help support this worthy cause to help increase awareness of the importance of early Breast Cancer detection! Thank you so much, Summer and the BnW DT!!!!! Big hugs for all of you!!! You will see that I bought 4 stamps from this collection to put in this SWEET STUFF below!!!!!

I made a little criss-cross card with a pull-out panel for jotting a note...and crazy me forgot to take a picture of the pull-out card...but you can see the top of it in the picture. The image I used is my favorite Belles 'n Whistles sweetie called WISHES....gosh, what a wonderful thought!!! The base is Bazzill, the matting is PTI, and the DP is from a Vintage Rose paper pack. The image was stamped on Cryogen White, colored with Copics, cut out free-form and placed on double Nesties. The double bow at the bottom is Coral Grosgrain topped with light Peach organza. The floral treatment resting on MS punched branches are all from Wild Orchid Crafts: Cherry Blossom Stem Flowers, Aster Daisies, 25mm Open Roses, 5mm Closed Rosebuds, and 4mm Closed Rosebuds. For the top of the pull-out card I also used some Moss Green Leaves trim for the base of more Aster Daisies and Rosebuds.

SWEET STUFF...and now a little something special for all of my FOLLOWERS!!! You all are the very best!!! I hope you like what I have put together for you this time because as you can see, there are many things in the SWEET STUFF that have a BIG IMPORTANCE to me!!! Please leave your info with the little Blue Froggy before Saturday, April 23, at midnight EST. If you don't have a blog, please put your email address in your comment! I would love for you to share this posting with your blogging friends but it certainly is not required. Thank you everyone!!! AND Good Luck!!

What a beautiful card, such a sweet sweet stamp.

Keep thinking positive hun, Im a firm believer that it makes a difference, certainly did to me when I was going through this 12yrs ago, I think my stubborn determination and bloodymindedness regarding all those chemo sessions is what kept me one ounce of strength above being weak enough and sick of it enough to stop caring. Keep fighting, the world is behind you supporting you ))

Beautiful Criss-Cross card, Jacque! Love your flower stems!
I'm pleased you are feeling so well in spite of the less than rewarding test results. Do keep that strong mentality - it will undoubtedly assist in your full recovery from this terrible illness.
I'm also pleased that you were at least unaffected by tornados even though you had to suffer severe storms. England is experiencing an incredibly early summer which probably means a wet and horrible June, July and August.
Oh - and of course thank you for more sweet stuff opportunities. You are tooooo generous! Hugs, Lesley

How Wonderful of Belle's and Whistle's to have a Collection with a Cause, where part of the proceeds go to fight cancer! Thank you for sharing that with everyone...and for using your blog to inform people about opportunities to make a difference--like clicking on the Breast Cancer Site! The image on this card is incredible!

And, Sweetie, this Sweet Stuff is so generous! Thank you for making it so special! You are really an amazing person, Jacque. I am sending some sunshine from Florida to you. Hmmm...I wonder if sun block keeps the Vitamin from reaching us? Just a thought.

Thank you for the very sweet comment you left on the blog. I hope you saw the post about the American Cancer Society's Re-lay for Life! It was an incredible experience. Please read about it, it was life changing for me- in many ways.

Thank you for offering this particular candy, it is such a good cause. My daughter was diagnosed with this dreaded disease in Jan. so it has gotten very personal to me as well. It’s one of the worst types but thankfully she went for her yearly mammogram and it was found early. She is just about the most stubborn and determined people I’ve ever known and has a strong faith so we are very hopeful. I found your blog when you were part way thru Chemo and have been praying for your full recovery ever since. I will continue to pray for you as I do my DD.
Have a Blessed Easter
